I was recently hired as a health and safety supervisor for a corporate bank in downtown Toronto. One of my first tasks was to look into our current fire safety equipment, and found it wasn't to code. A superior recommended I call Control Fire Systems for the job, and this company did a remarkable one. I ordered quite a lot of equipment/product by the end of it but I'm satisfied.

We just built a facility extension and hired Control Fire for inspections. They were the easiest people to work with and have a huge amount of industry knowledge. When setting up the expansion there was a good deal of paperwork and fire code we needed to understand. All I had to do for Control Fire was talk with them over the phone—they were as good with information as they were with equipment.

We did a complete retrofit on our Mississauga facility and settled on Control Fire after learning about their reputation. They are a no nonsense supplier in the best sense of the phrase. Very careful and down to business. They worked within our retrofit schedule and had the installation done without problems. Altogether an enjoyable team to deal with.

We've been with Control Fire Systems for more than a decade and year-after-year our inspections come back clear and the equipment remains in good shape. Our fire panel had aged and we replaced it over the summer. I wanted to thank your tech team for the fair advice and the fact that you don't try to upsell unless it's necessary. I like how that Control Fire is honest and straight up. Looking forward to another ten years.

We have a large home that includes an attached workshop space and discovered a couple of months ago that our fire alarms were defective when they didn't detect a fire in an out building. Control Fire System has resolved this issue and really given reassurance to my wife and myself. We've got a very effective alert and suppression system now with extinguishers and other equipment. Thank you for being responsive and informed regarding home protection.

Control Fire System came on time for our scheduled quote on refilling our clean agent cylinder. They did a fast and efficient job and also provided cylinder hydrostatic testing and emergency cylinder recharges in case of any emergencies in the future. This is something like the fifth or sixth time we've used them and it's always gone well. We'll look forward to having CFS come back in future.

Our company has purchased a lot of equipment from Control Fire Systems. We had them install a fire control panel, fire smoke detectors and extinguishers. They're quite comprehensive and fair in describing what you need. Plus they have a warranty on their equipment and are always accessible. This is a professional choice.

Every year, our factory has a fire extinguisher inspection to make sure all the portable extinguishers are well maintained and working. Control Fire Systems offers many portable extinguisher services such as inspection, refill and recharge, 6 year maintenance, repair and pressure testing. The company comes consistently for the inspection every year and gives a good run down of any problems with the extinguishers. They are professional and reliable.

Our warehouse has used Control Fire System’s a couple times over the past 10 years for fan air leakage and for sprinkler system inspections. They've been reliable and trustworthy and we've been able to rely on them for the jobs. Very responsive to service calls and transparent in their pricing.

One of our motels failed a fire alarm test in the fall. The technician from Control Fire System was very professional and experienced. He went through the guidelines and procedures and suggested replacement of most of the alarms and maintenance for the sprinklers. The work went off fairly quickly and we felt much more confident once the work was completed. We're pleased we trusted the solid reviews of this company and will be using them for the remainder of our properties.

Control Fire System’s products are great and functional. As a facility manager, it is my duty to ensure the safety of our workers since our company produces a lot of highly flammable products. Our workplace cannot risk of having a fire and our fire suppression system needs to be top notch and properly functioning. It's rather like getting a regular physical and screening medical issues -- you can't fake it. These folks have performed their oversight role perfectly and we look forward to continue working with them.

We went with Kidde ADS Novec system when we did a complete factory overhaul in the spring. It was a good price although not the lowest quoted. Cutting corners wasn’t our concern. We wanted something that could be maintained for the lifetime of the facility and provides all the safeguards needed. We did the research and were really impressed Control Fire System’s presentation, planning, and testimonials. So far so good at this point and I’m happy to recommend.

I manage maintenance at a nearly 10,000 sqf facility in the east end and Control Fire Systems is contracted to check out our systems twice annually. They’ve done some fan air testing as well as the fire systems and everything has been in order since I started here. I recommend to any plant manager getting into a regular contract situation with a reputable company like this one. It’s great piece of mind.

Whenever one of our larger commercial units changes hands, expands, renovates, etc. I call in Control Fire Systems. They assess and do upgrades and repairs where necessary which actually adds to the bottom line if a sale is involved. One of the great tricks of property management is being sure you’re not getting gouged by contractors downstream and having these guys onboard has been a great relief in that regard. It’s a partnership I plan to continue to take advantage of.

Our factory company needed to refill our suppression system cylinders and Control Fire Services were the first one in mind as our new facility manager had used them successfully in the past. They have a 24 hour emergency system cylinder refilling which was really handy. Everything went well and they performed their task very quickly. Control Fire Services also buys and sells chemical agents which we've now gotten involved in. On the whole a great business partner.

As a supervisor at our northern plant I’ve been very impressed with the services provided by Control Fire Systems. I’ve been here five years and have experience with the previous provider, who was much less reliable. We’ve had maintenance and testing of various cylinders including inspection, valve rebuilding and cylinder painting all with exceptional results. We expanded in the GTA at the beginning of the year and were happy to extend our contract with Control at the same time. Thanks for your exceptional services.

This company does engineering at its finest. I couldn’t believe how well integrated the Novec system was considering our space is about half the size it ought to be. I will definitely be advising the second plant consider the same fire suppression system in place of the old one.

I opened up a new branch of my business this year and had to install a fire control panel at the new location. We’d worked with CFS years ago and called them again for this job. They had all the specs of our older system and found an option which was similar, compatible with the extra smoke detectors we had and didn't require retraining for our facilities staff. This saved us a great deal of expense and hassle.

Dealt with them a few times over the past few years for control panels on our shop floor. Always found them reliable and techs did a good job installing. Hard to compare prices since all the systems are different, but they probably aren't the cheapest. Still – we haven’t had a problem and they've been pretty responsive for service calls.
